Richmond, Virginia based writer Megan Holley was a writer-in-residence at the Screenwriters Colony in 2005, the same year she was named one of Variety’s “10 Screenwriter’s to Watch.” Her first produced screenwriting credit is SUNSHINE CLEANING, an original script about two sisters who start a crime scene cleaning business. The film, which stars Amy Adams and Emily Blunt, screened at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and opened theatrically in 2009.  Megan’s studio assignments include adapting Maureen Johnson’s teen lit novel, THE KEY TO THE GOLDEN FIREBIRD, for Fox 2000 and adapting A.N. Wilson’s supernatural thriller, A JEALOUS GHOST, for Paramount Vantage. Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is attached to direct the thriller with Kirsten Dunst to star. In addition to the feature film work, Megan is developing a television project with Greer Shepard (THE CLOSER, NIP/TUCK) for Warner Brothers.
