Will Luers is a video artist, screenwriter and educator living in Portland, Oregon. His screenplay MINK was the winner of the 2005 Nantucket Film Festival Screenplay Competition and Showtime’s Tony Cox Award. His most recent video work was selected for the Media Arts Show at the 2008 ELO Conference: Visionary Landscapes. An early adopter of social media, he was named a “pioneer in videoblogging” in Forbes.com’s “Top Technology Trends” (2004) and in The New York Times (2006). Will’s video and net cinema work can be found online at solublefish.tv and taylorstreetstudio.com. He has taught film and media studies at Parson's School of Design, Hunter College, Portland State University and Pacific University. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Folklore and Folklife and an MFA in Film from Columbia University.
